Do you practice the 24-hr rule?

The 24-hour rule is about waiting for 24 hours before making a purchase, especially for items that aren't essential. This allows you to think about whether you truly need the item. In my case, I always do my best to stick to this rule. What about you?

I haven't always applied the 24-hour rule because I believe purchasing decisions are always driven by needs, not desires. Just like buying nice clothes or shoes is also a way to present yourself confidently to clients.

I do this a lot when it is not something very important. I wait for a day or two before buying it

If I buy something expensive, I'll wait for a day or two to think about it. But for purchase of daily necessities, I buy immediately.

I am not bothered of a rule, I buy if I like. But if the thing to buy is quite expensive like buying a new car, it needs me to think for about a week before setting my final decision. It's crucial if I won't gather data and results from previous buyers of the same car brand and if the price is right.
