There are apps that are specifically made for team collaboration. They are used for video meetings, team file storage and the likes. Does a team really need a special app for team collaboration?

Depending on the volume of the activity with response to amount of people that would be active on the app.

Yes Whatsapp is definitely an okay platform to use, but each platform has their different features. It depends on what you are looking for. Most people prefer using telegram because it can contain a larger number of persons and you can actually create polls, use bots and share lots of media files with ease.

WhatsApp really does that job but there are some special apps that does that in a very efficient way like the zoom meetings and so on.
