I don't but I should because I will come away without the items I want the most. I remember forgetting salt over several trips to the shops. I think most people come away with more than they mean to when they go shopping as the displays are so tempting and designed to make us buy more than we need.
I do. I make a shopping list and stick to it, especially while going grocery shopping. Everything is more expensive these days because of inflation, so I have to stick to my grocery list.
Though I don't go out for shopping all that much but whenever I do, I always create a list for my shopping. It helps me manage not just my capital but also my time.
I don't make a list. I do mental list all the time. If I go to the grocery, I make sure that I check the things we don't have and from there I am making a mental listings of what is needed.

I can't step into the market without a shopping list. That's one budgeting behaviour that my mum unconsciously passed down to me. I always have my budget drawn so that I stay focused on what I want to buy.
I prepare such a letter only in my head because I have no desire to write anything down. Very often it happens that it is in the store that I remember that I need to buy something else that I did not think about
