Do you save what you do not spend?

I usually set a budget each month and what I do not get to spend goes to savings. I do not roll it over. I place them to some digital banks to earn some interest. Doing such a thing helps in making your spending awareness better as well. Do you do this?

I usually do this sometimes, then often times i simply use it to sort out something else that needs financial attention.

if you know that you do not have anything important to spend on then you should save your money

I usually put a portion of my monthly earnings to a fixed deposit account to earn interest. I have been doing this for many years.

I save 30% of my online earnings. Its a must for me. Whatever that's remaining i divide it against needs and wants.

Well, I save some percentage of my income. I use the remaining money to pay bills. By the end of the month, nothing is left so there is no question about savaing what is not spent.
