Do you tell the truth about your work from the inside to acquaintances?

I very often share with friends and acquaintances, however, what my work actually looks like, because they have different ideas. I once worked in a pizzeria and told my friends how everything was really there and at the expense of some moments they were surprised that it was happening like this and not as they thought
