Do you think AI doctors would work?

Personally its a no no for me, its hard to trust AI based Doctors because like you said they don't feel anything and can't think like humans, they may be better in some things but since they are programed the system could fail in some time and imagen the system felling during surgery or on some hard medical procedures.
 
It might ot be acceptable by society. AI is also fed by humans and who are those humans? Are they in the medical field? It will be scary of course because AI is programmed and it has no emotions.

The problem now is when the robot suddenly experiences mal - function while undergoing the operation? My gosh so scary what if it's on lowbat🤣.
