Do you think it is acceptable to steal small items from work? I honestly do not think it is acceptable. I never have felt the need to take a work item and take it home to use for myself.

As long as it's not yours and did not pay for it. No matter how small, it is you should not take it.

Nah, it is never acceptable, that employee could be sanctioned . It is stealing despite a small thing like stealing a puncher .
