Do You Think Spending Time On Social Media a Waste of Time?

As we all know social medias are the maind enjoyment option for all of us, and now a days there are a lots of social media platforms that are introduced to us,
Some use social medias as a business and advertise there product on it and some use it as a money earning option.
But there are also some of us who surf social media only for enjoyment purpose only and do you think that spnending some time on social media only for enjoyment is waste of time?
 
I think it depends on what you do on social media and how long you use. In a situation where all you do is just scroll around looking for videos and pictures to like and comment, then i consider it a waste of time cause you are not being paid for that. Then in a situation where you get paid or you are using it for business purposes, then i think its a good way to spend your time.

I agree with you, if we spend just only scrolling and only watching contents for fun is consider waste of time and we are wasting our valuable time, but like you said if we learn things like tutorials and new things that will pay a good thing in the future because we are learning things.
 
Depending on what you use social media for, if you use it for work, it's not a waste of time, but if you're constantly using it to check what others are uploading and doing on social media and you spend a lot of time not doing anything productive on it, I think it's a waste of time.
 
It depends on the use made of these social media, I cite as an example the most famous ones such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik-Tok. Some say they can actually be tools to promote commercial activities, but for many they are just a pastime. But the REAL PROBLEM is when, especially among teenagers, they become a DANGER!

Exactly, the amount of time i would spend in just scrolling around, i would rather spend it on paid to post forums or if i am earning from scrolling on social media, then i can do that.

The problem of social medias are they are very addictive and even if you are there only for some minutes you will spend more than you expected to spend on, since there are a lots of things that make us enjoy it its hard to decide and stoo using it.
 
Spending time on social media like Facebook is not a waste of time especially if you are transacting a business or communicating with your friends and relatives. In my case, it's very important being in the academe.

It all depends on what you use the social network for, if you use it for business, communicating with your friends and family, or knowing the latest news about your hobbies, for example, it is not a waste of time.

It's not a waste of time. I am communicating with my students via Meta Messenger Group Chat and created two societies for Physics classes. I am teaching Physics at the university.

I said it's not a waste of time, but it also depends on what you use them for, if you use them to gossip and watch non-educational and vulgar content, it's probably a waste of time.

giving some time for relaxing is a good thing and it is very advisable, but spending all day on social media without any payment or any benefit is not good.

True, giving some time for social media for relaxation and for some rest is not a waste of time, its good thing, but we need to have some purpose.
 
Using social media has advantages and disadvantages. You can profit from your social media profiles. You can also work as a social media manager or as a Facebook Ads specialist. If you use social media for an extended amount of time and only browse, it can be a waste of time.
