Using social media has advantages and disadvantages. You can profit from your social media profiles. You can also work as a social media manager or as a Facebook Ads specialist. If you use social media for an extended amount of time and only browse, it can be a waste of time.

Using social media for making money is very good thing and it is not waste of time, but spending a lots of time without gaining any knowledge or without any profit is not good for me.

I think it's not a waste of time, but we can't work all the time, as for me, you can spend a little time to distract yourself from everything, but it's very difficult to control the time you spend on it
