Do you think this job offer I am giving to someone is fair?

So I am hiring musicians for my live band. They play twice in a week. One day in the evening for three hours and the other is Saturday for five hours. Ans I am offering $30 as the monthly pay. Do you think that is a good offer considering the job schedule?

I checked your location and it says Nigeria. I assume that 30 US dollars in Nigeria is a decent amount for that many hours of work. The musicians would only agree if that suits them. If this financial compensation is good for your location, you are fair. I hope that you make some profit too. 30 dollars would be considered very low pay in our country for that much amount of time and skill of musicians.

You would have written your pay in naira since you are paying them in naira because with this dollar conversion it looks small

Whether the pay is fair depends on the location. Here in my city, $30 is very low for such amount of work. But I think in Nigeria, this should be fair. Otherwise, the musician will not take your offer.

I think it's a decent fee especially based on the fact that they don't work all the days in a month. It gives them enough time to handle other gigs and jobs.

@Springtime if it where to a gig where they work every single day for the month then i would have said it's not a fair pay.

That pay is okay in Nigeria. It is more than half of the national minimum wage and they don't get to work everyday. Just two days.

From my point of view that's poor pay. In my country, a band performing for at least one hour will get anywhere between $100-$200.
