Many of the cheaper Android phones have older versions of Android installed. Do you upgrade the Android version if you have an older version, or prefer to purchase a new smartphone, when the latest Android version changes?

No,I did not update my Android phone. It is Huawei pro and it will be two years old in April next year. I buy a smart phone in 2025 . I have to save money because I plan to open another milk tea branch next ear.

There was a time i used to upgrade my phone. I would take it to the plaza to manually upgrade it but these days i don't do that. Majority of the times the phones usually sends upgrade. If they don't i use it like that until i have to buy a new phone.

On my mobile I have android 10, and I have the option to upgrade the version but I don't do it since I can use all the apps I want to use with that version, so until I don't need to upgrade it, I won't do it

I guess you accidentally pressed the update button, it's normal, it's also happened to me with other mobiles.

I am using an Android 10 to type this. When I bought the phone, it was stocked with android 8. It automatically prompted for update and I permitted it to update the android.
