Most of the crypto wallets like Trust Wallet and Metamask are available as a browser extension or app for smartphones. This question is for members who are using these wallets, do they use the app on their smartphone or browser extension. Which is the more secure option for receiving crypto payment?

I have Trust Wallet as an app on my phone. I just feel that the wallets offered by browser extensions might be limited in functionality like swapping of crypto.

I use the Metamask wallet on the Chrome browser extension, but for the Trust wallet I use the mobile phone app, of course the issue of non-custodial crypto wallet security is in the hands of the user, so there are separate tips for securing the browser extension wallet.

In my opinion, there are no major problems. Both wallets, both wallet extensions and mobile apps wallets, are both very safe, easy to use and user friendly, errors often occur just because users are careless, we can also use browser extensions and mobile apps wallets interchangeably just by importing seed phrases.

Those who are forced to travel for health or other reasons will prefer mobile wallets which they can carry with them wherever they go. If the browser extension is installed on a desktop, the user will lose access for some time.
