Do you use QR code for receiving payment?

For an online transaction, mobile payment failed and I was asked to send QR code for payment.
Does anyone else face this problem for mobile payment and has to use QR codes for receiving payment using their mobile phone?

I've also experienced this several times: mobile transactions fail, and I'm asked to send a QR code to complete the payment. I've noticed this especially on platforms that rely heavily on QR code payments, particularly when the connection or the mobile payment system is experiencing technical difficulties. Honestly, using QR codes as an alternative method has been convenient in those situations, as it allows for quick payments without being entirely dependent on the app or system's functionality at that moment. However, it can also be inconvenient if you don't have the code ready or if the other party isn't familiar with this method. Overall, I think it's a good backup solution, but it would be ideal if the systems improved their stability and compatibility to prevent these situations and streamline the process for both senders and recipients.

One of the major mobile payment companies is blocking payment to my upi id, citing fake security reasons and the buyers are asking for qr code for payment .

Of course, the business we run must be adapted to technological developments so we also need to provide payments using QR codes, moreover, currently many customers do not carry enough cash.

I have never used QR codes to receive payment. But I have seen some offline shops here use it a lot.

Crypto exchanges are giving a better price when UPI payment option is selected, so crypto sellers are preferring to use UPI , though some UPI companies are creating problems.
