Do you utilize the old stuff or buy new ones

In Africa, mothers are the best people in economizing, instead of going to buy new things, they start looking for a way to utilize the old stuff to function as the new one.

Sometimes it might be more expensive than if they could have bought the new stuff. Do you utilize the old stuff before buying new ones, it is a form of saving money

If the old stuff still has capacity to deliver, I would use it. But if it is more expensive to repair the old one to use, let it rest. I would work with a new one.

I have the tendency for buying new items. I would normally give out the used items to the needy people.

When my old clothes become rags, I convert them into kitchen towels. Whenever possible, I convert them in bath towels, even in handkerchiefs. So no need any more to buy such a stuff (as kitchen towels, bath towels and handkerchiefs). And I'm studying other possibilities of recycling.

Dear friend, you should know that in Italy as in every other country of the European Union they have rightly imposed that called greeneconony which among other things, requires recycling instead of using new raw materials in order to respect the natural environment in which ALL OF US live. They are also trying to eliminate plastic because it is a decidedly polluting product and if it is disposed of in incinerators, it releases harmful toxins that we then have to breathe!

I try to live frugally, so I usually do not buy new stuff as long as my old things can work. I always try to reuse my old stuff.

This is something we should all do, also because first of all reusing would save us money and then recycling helps the environment we live in. Today we should all reflect especially on this second point.
