I live quite far away so I can not visit them often but I try when I can it feels even more special when I meet them arfter not seeing them for a while.

Same here, my favorite sister stay far away. I enjoy the bond better when we reconnect after a long while.
When I was still studying in another city, I visited my parents every week because they cooked me food that I took with me to the dormitory, but when I started working, it became less often because I provide for myself. And I visit them once a month
