I have known that the above named writing site is one of the old serving writing platforms globally. It has the most recommended resources and a place to find the most appealing articles. What is your experience with the site like?

I have not joined on that site. Somebody from my country invited me to. join medium, but when I checked the site, I learned that the topics to post are mostly about crypto, coins and more.

That's not true. Medium allows you to post on any topics, you can even publish poems and short stories. It also pays for views but the earning program is not available for all countries.
I too have seen the medium to be dealing with various kinds of topics but mostly l have read about cryptocurrency

Publishing on Medium is different than posting on forums. You will have to write longer content because it is basically article site. So, Medium will consume your time.

I am an article writer and blogger. I checked medium, It is not preference. I am now a writer at BeWriter and at WriterBay.com
It is a popular website for writers but I'm no article writer so it would be hard plus I don't know much about crypto or anything like that so it would be hard to even write one
For me l can say that l am still very skeptical on the writing venture and l am really hesitant on the same.
Yes, you’re allowed to share links on Medium, but they are set to ‘nofollow’ by default. However, search engines may still follow the links posted on the platform, so it’s a good idea to build links there.

One of the reasons why I joined Medium is to promote my online articles. Most of the content aggregators have no-follow links, however, since these websites are ranked high, even no-follow links have value
I'm yet to join this site but if they pay well. Why not I would try to check it out if it would Worth my time
