The way that companies and organizations kick against their staff joining trade unions, I am forced to ask if it poses any danger and challenge to the organization.

What are the possible challenges that a company would face if their staff joins a trade union?

If an employee is a member of a labor union, he or she is protected by the union, and the company can be sanctioned for whatever is done by them to the employees, like firing or demoting from work
