Most of my friends that are selling products online are complaining that the market has been slow lately. They say it is because this is the holiday. Does it mean that online businesses always get slow during holiday seasons? Why does it work that way?

Ideally, online business should be at the peak during holidays. This is the time when millions, if not billions, of people need the services and goods sold by online businesses.
Yes, that's it. I think during the holidays sales more people are pushed to buy online

It’s true that the holiday season affects online businesses in different ways. Many people travel, cut back on spending, or focus on family over purchasing. This leads to a short-term drop in sales.

However, not every holiday brings market stability. There are times like Christmas or New Year’s when sales increase for specific products. It’s important to understand customer behavior and plan strategies based on the season.

It depends on what particular holiday season. If you mean Christmas holidays, online businesses boom in sales. And if you mean during the Lenten days, online businesses aren't affected. People can order in advance and the order can be delivered the Lenten days.

If you are selling fashion stuffs online, it is possible that sales might dwindle during the holiday seasons. That's because people are just travelling for holidays.
I'm in! 😎 This is a common situation for online businesses. During the holidays, people are busy traveling, not buying clothes. But don't give up. Play with the season: sell travel clothes, run promotions, use social media to remind people to place orders early. If you are creative and agile, you can turn the holidays into an opportunity to sell more. Business is a game of mind and timing. Keep pushing! 💪
