Does the advertising on the public transportation still worthy of?

In my country one can find some ads on the buses. However no one even bothers with the checking for the advertisements.
What do you think?

I think it's still effective to some extent but not as it used to be. The truth of the matter is that not everyone have the time to actually go through these adverts, which is why you have to make your visuals very attractive.

Some buses here are doing it but they are paid by the owner of the business. There are only a very few of them. The LTO will sanction the bus operators.

I have realized that most people that use public type of transportation are the low to middle income earners and that bracket actually makes a good fit for the potentiality as the most targeted audience.

In my home country, it is a popular advertising method but I do not know how effective they are, because I have never done it myself

It is not allowed here in my place to advertise on buses. It is against the policy of the Land Transportation Office. The owner will be penalized.
