Formal businesses have to issue receipts to their customers for every sale they make. Some informal businesses like street grocery stores don't bother about it giving receipts to customers.

In your business, do you issue receipts to customers for every sale that you make?

At the moment, my business does not issue our receipt but this is something i would definitely like to include in the near future.

For my own business, I would only issue electronic receipts from the payment processor for products purchased.

For my milk tea business, I don't issue a receipt. However, the buyer is issued with an electronic receipt This is done for recording and inventory which is done weekly. I can't monitor the sales without it. Honesty from the staff is the key for them to retain.

Is the electronic receips sent to the email of the buyer? How do the customers get the electronic receipts?

For me my business is yet to reach that level. In my country, a full registered business company is required by the law of the land to produce an ETR receipt for each and every sales they make for tax compliance purposes.

Yes that's how it should be. Receipts should be issued for everything but some people only issues for big purchases

Receipts are very important as it can help you get out of trouble quite easily. It might look less significant but the moment people bring up their lies, you have your prove well documented. That alone is an evidence.

Yes it does help to give receipts for almost all transactions but some people don't do for very minute transactions
