It is now a mainstream possibility that people can earn from streaming games. I have heard people say they make money from YouTube through streaming of games. Is it a reality that YouTube actually does pay for streaming games on YouTube?

Yes, it is completely real that you can make money by streaming games on YouTube. There are several ways content creators can monetize their live streams, such as through ads, channel member subscriptions, super chats, and direct donations from viewers. YouTube also has a monetization program where you can earn money as your videos generate views and engagement. Although you need to meet certain requirements, such as having a minimum number of subscribers and viewing hours, the ability to make money streaming games has become a legitimate source of income for many. If you have an audience that logs in constantly, it can definitely be a profitable way to make money.

Sorry, but I'm not entirely clear on the concept. I mean, what does streaming video games on YouTube mean? Forgive me, but I know absolutely nothing about it. What I do know about YouTube is that any user can watch or upload videos or reels.

Maybe now I'm starting to get the idea a little clearer, so streaming games on YouTube means live broadcasting your video game gameplay on YouTube so other users can watch it in real time. Do I understand correctly?
Yes that's how it works, and there are people who actually enjoy watching this, especially those who are into E-sports.

Yes, I realize that there are people who are genuinely interested in watching video game matches played and then recorded on YouTube, but I still wonder how many of them are willing to pay to see them?
