Doo you think people should not just leave money to be idle doing nothing?

People always say that it doesn't make sense to leave funds idling away doing nothing. Is it every money that one has that needs to be purposed? Can't someone just have funds that is idle? What is wrong with just having idle funds?

Just leaving the money there is like keeping it for later use. The best thing would be to either invest it, or keep it in a savings account that can generate interest for you.

If it is not emergency funds, money being kept idle is completely wasted. Money should always be utilized.

Don't leave money under your pillow. If you have idle money, at least put it in the savings account though interest is small. As the amount accumulates, start thinking of investment.
