DTC Introduces 200 New Electric Buses on City Routes
New Delhi,December 26, 2025: In a boost to green mobility, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) today flagged off a fleet of 200 new electric buses. These buses, equipped with modern amenities like GPS, CCTV, and USB charging ports, have been deployed across major routes, including the Delhi-Gurugram and Delhi-Noida corridors. With this addition, the total number of electric buses in the DTC and cluster fleet crosses the 1,800 mark. Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot said Delhi is on track to achieve its target of an 80% electric bus fleet by 2030.
