Earthquake Shakes China! Guangdong Shaken, Roads Cracked, Buildings Tilt, Residents Fleeing in Panic

On June 23, 2025, at around 6:48 PM, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck Qingcheng District, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, located at 23.62°N latitude and 113.17°E longitude. The earthquake had a depth of approximately 10 kilometers, with its epicenter located in Qingyuan. While not considered a strong earthquake, its shallow depth and proximity to densely populated areas made it felt across the Pearl River Delta region. Areas including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, and even Hong Kong and Macau experienced tremors.

On Mars, there are no earthquakes. There are quakes, but they are not that scary. It becomes really scary, frightening, when you know that the quality of construction of your building does not match the requirements to resist an earthquake.

Davao city near my region was struct by a 6.4 magnitude earthquake the other week. We felt the tremor at home, It's so scary. I hate earthquake. It seems nowhere to hide and run.
