My friend just lost his mom and there was some money in the mom's bank account. And he knew the authentication details. He just used the bank app and transferred all the funds from the account of his late mom. That's quite easier than having to go to the bank and prove that you are the next of kin.
 
Yes! The mobile app have made it easy but it may be against the law because the child that withdraws the money may not be the next of kin. In situation, where the next of kin later went to bank and discovered that fund have been transferred, he can sue the person who do the transaction.
 
Yes if you have all the details to the account you can easily access it and remove the money before the bank finds out or try to block it.
