Entrepreneurial spirit: What does it entail?

I have always heard people talk about the entrepreneurial spirit. And I am kinda lost about what it all entails. What are the things that make up the entrepreneurial spirit? Of what use is the entrepreneurial spirit to running and owning a business as it were?

I think it is simply what makes up an entrepreneur, like their consistency, personality, resilience and so on.

Entrepreneurial spirit entails to the fact that the business becomes the integral part of your life. That is you always stay being focused in the business for sure.
