This is how brands exploit the emotion of the customers and push them into buying things they don't need. Human beings have a tendency of “emotional buying”, especially the poor and the middle class and that's what these companies try to exploit and lead them into impulsive buying.

I know most of you already know this example but for those who are unaware how this thing works, let me try to break it down to you. You may think it's not so easy to convince people to buying something but this is a tried and tested method and one way or the other, you may have also fallen into this trap.
