Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram experienced longest outage today

Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram experienced worst downtime ever. Since 9 am in the morning, thousands of users couldn't be able to log into their accounts. Some users who are able to log into their account experience terrible hitches etc. The problem persisted for more than 4 hours.
Facebook have apologized to their teeming users who experience difficulty logging into the social media.

I did not notice this though cause I was extremely busy all through does times, so there was no time to go through any of my social media accounts.

I noticed this both on my Instagram and Facebook and I was wondering what was happening. Good that I can access them now.
