Of course here in my vicinity farming is very viable and more lucratively so long as you have a good source of water.

That's overwhelming considering the economic crises that we have this time. At least there are hard working farmers who serve as the backbone of the country. Farming is admirable and the hope of the people in a region or entire nation.

Farming is a very lucrative business but don't buy the idea that farmers are always on profit! It is absolutely not true. This year, farmers in my country lose a lot because there is abundant harvest and the price of food crashed!
