Winnipeg resident Michelle Burkowski claimed her dog Buster caused two fires. The cause? A Samsung range that had been under a recall since August 2024.
The recall notice issued by Health Canada warned of a fire hazard for some Samsung electric ranges, as their knobs could be accidentally pressed by humans or even animals.
More than 300 ranges in the United States have already been affected by the problem. It is not known whether Buster acquired any cooking skills, but the story remains a unique joke.
