Doing this will help you develop a unique solution to their flaws and use it to improve your products to make it more attractive The bottom line here is that you would be positioning your business to compete with others in the industry.
 
Your uniqueness as a business and your subsequent growth/ profitability in your business depends on how much of gaps in the industry that the business is able to plug. The gaps you fill in your business industry determines to a large extent how much patronage you would get.
