it has been reported that fleeing Binance executive, Nadeem Anjarwalla's lawsuit against the Nigerian government seeking the enforcement of his rights has been dismissed. This was carried out by Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The lawsuit waa dismissed for lack of diligent prosecution. it was noted that on March 28, which was the date of the previous sitting in the matter, Anjarwalla’s counsel, Tonye Krukrubo, (SAN), had sought leave to withdraw his appearance in the matter, and the application was granted.

The matter was later adjourned till Wednesday, June 19, for mention but no lawyer appeared for the applicant (Anjarwalla). Anjarwalla and his colleague, Tigran Gambaryan, had filed separate human rights enforcement suits, against the NSA and EFCC, seeking an order to release them from detention. The both claimed the act amounted to a violation of their fundamental right

Anjarwalla and Gambaryan, are both US citizens working for Binance, a crypto exchange platform. The duo and their company are facing charges bordering on money laundering with the EFCC and tax evasion with the Federal Inland Revenue.

I always wonder what is the problem with the African countries when we come to the matters affecting the finances
The executives I read were arrested for fraud and money laundering. Though they claimed not to be guilty of them though.

I think you have not followed the case. The two are executives of Binance who came to Nigeria to resolve differences between Binance and Nigeria government. Unfortunately for them, Nigeria government detained them. They don't have personal issue with Nigeria government. They are only representing Binance.

Well I was referring to their charges in court. That's was what was brought before the court against them and I think that's why they stated they were not guilty
