For first time in history of wars: Ukrainian ground robots defeated Russians and captured position

According to the report, for the first time since the start of a full-scale invasion and in the history of modern warfare, the Ukrainian military carried out a unique operation using only drones and robots. Soldiers from the 3rd separate assault brigade in the Kharkiv region stormed a fortified Russian position and captured prisoners, completely excluding the participation of infantry and avoiding casualties among personnel. The operation was carried out in a well-coordinated and technologically advanced manner. First, the enemy fortifications were fired upon by FPV drones and ground robotic systems equipped with anti-tank mines and cumulative charges. When the next ground robot began to approach the destroyed bunker, Russian soldiers, to avoid destruction, declared their surrender.

The report also stated that after the operation was completed, the liberated fortifications and forest belt were occupied by Ukrainian troops. This achievement was made possible thanks to the 3rd Assault Brigade's school for ground robotic complex operators, which was recently created. This episode is clear proof that Ukraine is quickly adapting to modern challenges. Ground combat drones, operating in conjunction with FPV kamikaze and reconnaissance vehicles, are becoming a new factor that breaks the old Russian tactics of trench warfare. Oleksandr Yabchanka, head of the robotic systems for Ukraine's Da Vinci Wolves Battalion, said that his unit doesn't have different robot types. Instead, they equip and put them together based on specific needs. They might use a rigid capsule so it can carry a wounded soldier, but later, if they need to destroy a Russian position, they attach a bomb to it and turn that system into a kamikaze one. Yabchanka described ground drones as being adaptable systems that soldiers can put together themselves on the field.
