France pushes for EU-wide defense strategy

France wants the EU to get its act together on defense, which is a big deal. I think the coolest thing about it is that they want to depend less on NATO. It's really interesting to see Europe changing how it thinks about security. What's wild to me is that more countries seem to be getting on board. The main thing for me is that they need to work together well. I guess Europe wants to feel like a stronger unit.
