France recognizes Palestine as a state.

The French president, Emmanuel Macron has signed a statement that has been made public, recognizing Palestine as a state. The French president stated in the letter that he would make the official announcement in the next UN general assembly later this year.

There has been serious backlash on why France should recognize Palestine as a state. But I think it is just the right thing to do.

I think France is making a very big mistake by recognizing Palestinian as a state. The move is wrong because France is not likely to support Palestinian in their present predicament. French president acted like a layman in world politics. This is not the right time for this.
