Hydrogen de France (HDF), a global pioneer in hydrogen power, has deepened its commitment to the Philippines by signing a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Department of Energy (DoE) and the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA).

According to the report, this partnership aims to accelerate the development and deployment of green hydrogen technology in the country.

The report said that the French energy firm is investing $1.5 billion in 15 projects, with a particular focus on Mindanao. HDF Energy’s Renewable technology, which combines renewable energy with hydrogen storage, will be at the core of these initiatives.

The report added that by collaborating with local government units, electric cooperatives, and partners like Reurasia, HDF Energy aims to create a robust green hydrogen ecosystem in the Philippines.
