From $50 weekly budget, now it becomes $ 80

I could manage to spend $50 a week budget, but at this time, this amount is no longer possible. I thought that the prices in 2026 will reduce, but sadly, it doubles instead.

The prices of everything here is hard to define and imagine. Let alone the kilo of red rice from $1.3, now it's $2. While the people here in my country are complaining, the House of Senate and Congress are busy fighting about corruption, petition for President Marcos and Vice Resident Sarah Duterte Carpio. They better discuss how to control the high cost of commodities.

My weekly budget is good only for the gasoline, snacks, lunches, fruits, milk, vegetables, and other beverages. Bills like current, Internet, and mineral water are under my spell hehe. Life is harsh sometimes.

Indeed, we need to adjust our spending. I plan to eat only one or two kinds of fruits weekly, to save some money. If only money grows on a tree and flies to my pocket, hehe.

Prices of everything in the Philippines are overwhelming. It's getting higher. There is almost weekly increase of everything especially food, fish, meat, spices fruits eggs, butter and milk.

I don't know of anyone that their own budget would reduce rather than increase. It is a natural thing if you ask me.

I hate the prices, they are too much, and it seems,the prices are manipulated ed by the sellers. It seems impossible that the price changes after 5 days, it is so absurd. I quarreled one rice seller and told her that I will repot them to the police.
