According to the report, President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to the media after meeting at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, on Monday afternoon. The two leaders discussed moving towards the second phase of the peace deal in Gaza and bringing lasting peace to the Middle East. Netanyahu called the meeting with Trump “very, very productive.” Trump said it will be “horrible” for Hamas if they don’t disarm.
The report stated that Trump also took questions on other issues, including when to expect an announcement on his choice for a replacement for the Federal Reserve Chair. Trump has historically been at odds with the current Federal Reserve Chair, Jerome Powell.
The report added that Trump met with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday at Mar-a-Lago, but it was unclear whether the two leaders discussed a possible peace plan between Russia and Ukraine. The White House said Trump spoke on the phone with Putin after the Zelenskyy meeting.
