Lately, more apps are blending games with earning— like rewarding users with small payouts or points, for things like completing tasks, watching videos, or something else.

Some find it fun, while others feel the rewards are too small or the effort isn’t really worth it. There’s also the question of whether this model truly benefits users long-term or mainly keeps them hooked.

What’s your take on gamified monetization?

What’s your take on gamified monetization?
I think gamified monetization can be a good idea when it’s done transparently and with realistic expectations. For some users, it adds motivation and makes otherwise boring tasks more engaging, especially if they’re already spending time on their phone anyway.

That said, the downside is that the rewards are often very small compared to the time and effort involved, which can feel discouraging over time. If the system relies too heavily on keeping users hooked rather than providing real value, it starts to feel more exploitative than rewarding.

Overall, I see it as a decent bonus rather than a reliable way to earn. It works best when users treat it as something fun on the side, not as a primary source of income.
