Gas explosion kills mother and child in Ogun State. Nigeria

Report has it that there was a gas explosion on Church street along Ebute road in the Ibafo area of Ogun state. The gas explosion took the lives of a 40-year-old woman Rafiat Sheriff and her seven-year-old daughter, Asisat yesterday


This happened as the deceased woman had told her daughter to light up the gas burner for them to prepare their evening meal when the gas cylinder bursted into flames.

The entire apartment was consumed by fire, leading to the death of the mother and her daughter.

It is very unfortunate. Some people don't adhere to simple rules of life. How can a woman of 40 years of age asked a girl of 7 years old girl to light up the gas burner? What is she doing ? Laziness is the cause of her death.

That was so unfortunate, the mother must be the one to do it not a 7-year-old child. The child was so afraid to do it the reason why she was not able to light the gas correctly.
