General Mahamat Idriss Deby has been announced the winner of Chad's presidential election.

This happens on Thursday, May 16, it was stated that Deby got 61 percent of the vote, well ahead of second-placed candidate Succes Masra with 18.54 percent. Well, the opposition leader Masra acknowledged the council's ruling and did not say he would fight it. it is on record now that this oil-producing country is the first in West and Central Africa's Sahel region to attempt a return to constitutional rule by holding elections.

Let me hope that the chad people have had a very peaceful, that was very free , transparent and fair elections and that is the most important thing for sure.
