German Warship Shoots Down Drone off Lebanon Coast

According to the report a German warship operating as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) mission shot down an unmanned drone off the coast of Lebanon on Thursday (October 17).

The report said that a spokesperson for the German Defence Ministry informed that the corvette was managing a UN-led peacekeeping operation when it spotted the drone. "The corvette brought an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle into the water in a controlled crash," he said.

He further said that none of the crew on the UNIFIL ship was hurt. In the last few days, the UN soldiers have come under attack several times in embattled Lebanon.

There might be another pair of countries to retaliate against Germany and Lebanon. The war will never end because of this, The Lebanese should not engage in sending drones for assaulting a country.
