I just checked it and with what I read, it seems that some people are trying to fraud the forum by having more than 1 account. That is why they introduced the verification process. But I see that it has been cancelled. You can earn without been verified.
I would join the site either today or tomorrow. I would just give them a benefit of doubt and see how it would go.

From the look of things, I think someone who understands the site better should come and share more about it and probably pitch as to what the uniqueness of the site aside from those which are in existence currently.
