As an entrepreneur, am pretty sure we know what it means for a customer or client to ghost you and how painful it can be. Have you ever experienced a situation whereby a potential client contacts you, you have had series of discussions, discussed a price. Then the customer tells you once they are ready they would get back to you. After awhile you contacted the customer just to remind them, and they still tell you it's not yet time, that once they are ready they will get back to you, only for you to see that the customer has patronized someone else days later.

It happened to me, a customer ordered 30 red printed t-shirts for their outing. And when everything is ready, like the t-shirts, I asked him about the printing design texts so my artists can design them. He declined, saying they won't push through their outing. I only know that he ordered from another online seller. He was so disgusting.

The experience that I have gave me a lesson. I should have not bought those T-shirts. I spent money buying 30 red T-shirts. If I can't find a customer for these 30 T-shirts, I would have a huge loss.

Yes, having a customer ghost you can be painful. When I was an online seller, I had gone through it once. Someone reached out to me and expressed interest in purchasing the phone. After a lengthy discussion, she changed her mind when we finally made plans to meet. Lol

It is very painful as a business person to be ghosted. But one doesn't have to be discouraged. Those customers that ghosted you can still come around one day.
Yes that's true, something similar happened to me a few days back. Someone reached out to me for a flyer design. After agreeing on the price she said she would contact me in the next few days to send the details for the flyer and make payment. Days later there was no news from her, i even sent messages but no response and she was constantly updating her status. I finally gave up on the customer, only for her to contact me days later again for the job.

It is not an easy thing to feel hurt and seemingly insulted by someone who ghosted us. I also experienced being ghosted by a ruthless customer.
Yes it can be very annoying or painful. The worse part is if you have gone out to source out resources for the work, only for them to ghost you.

That's to teach you one business principle. It is payment that should be the motivation for you to start sourcing for materials.

That's correct, that was my experience being ghosted by a customer after having bought the resources. It was hurting and my tears like to fall from being insulted and rejected. He should be man enough.

I have been ghosted recently, I was called to come and supply honey, I rushed to the shop picked a bottle and sent a dispatch rider to supply. Only for me to receive a call from my customer minutes after the rider had left, she said that her husband just came back with a big gallon of honey that I should pause the delivery. I learnt that the best thing is to pay before delivery.

Exactly, once they have made half payment or full payment, then you can now source work

I have always expected every new customer to ghost me even after talking to me. Only loyal customers don't ghost.
Yes true only loyal customers don't ghost, but at the end of the day, it is also becoming pretty hard to find loyal customers.
