Government hospitals in India are now becoming hubs of crime like drug rackets, organ stealing rackets, baby stealing murders, rapes etc. Most of the government hospitals don't have proper security, they aren't maintained properly so the elite section avoid going there. Most patients are poor and some illiterate. So it's easy for some criminal minded hospital staff to perpetuate such heinous crime. If this has to be stopped there has to be tight security with cctv and constant surveillance. This will safeguard both the doctors and the patients.

All the government funds meant for hospitals are siphoned by politicians in the government and some corrupt hospital staff. No government hospitals in India have security leave alone military staff.

It's common here, no where is really safe these days, as long as the government do not make use of the place themselves, they don't really care about the state of the place.

That's true the security in the government hospitals is not adequate and recent infamous murder of a doctor in Calcutta has indicated the same. The government must take an action to make some checks and provide people security and safety so that such cases are not repeated.

It is so in our country. Most educated Indians are leaving the country for better jobs and fair rules of the government.

Those who left India cannot anymore fathom the cruelties of the local governance, inefficient and idiots. When I was in Auckland, I met there many Indian chefs. They position their resto inside the mall. They are now residents in New Zealand.
