Most government medical colleges and hospitals in West Bengal and Odisha are in bad state. Equipments and the infrastructure are in shambles. Patients are left to die without proper treatment in Odisha with the doctors busy promoting private hospitals while in West Bengal, especially Kolkata, patients are killed by giving them fake medicine and their dead bodies sold to other countries. The health sector in India needs lot of attention and rectification.
