Governor gifts N200,000 each to corps members in Niger state, Nigeria

Mohammed Bago, the Governor of Niger state, , today announced gifts N200,000 each to corps members. These are corpers under the Batch B stream posted to the state.

The governor announced this yesterday Tuesday, July 2 during the swearing-in of the 2024 Batch B Stream I corps members at the NYSC orientation camp in Paiko, Niger State.

He further disclosed that the state government will commit N5 billion to the construction of the permanent orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps in the state.

That's highly commendable especially from a state that is highly improvised. Niger state is academically poor and need corps member to help to teach and develop some part of the state. The governor have to do more.

Yes, the government did well for the youth corps. it would be a kind of motivation for them to help out state in the ways they can.
