Are you familiar with this type of investment? Otherwise, you're just like me. I had never heard of it before, until last night. When I heard about this kind of investment in a movie last night, I assumed it was all made up. So I looked into it, and it turns out that it is real. Green bonds, often referred to as climate bonds, are a type of debt security that is offered by a company to finance or refinance initiatives that improve the climate and/or environment.
