Hamas militants have informed mediators that it accepts the latest ceasefire proposal for Gaza, according to international and Israeli media outlets citing Hamas officials.

While details remain limited, reports indicate that the revised proposal was presented to Hamas a day earlier. It reportedly builds on the group’s previous response, which included a framework for a 60-day ceasefire and a two-step release of hostages held in Gaza.


Egyptian and Qatari mediators are leading the negotiations in their ongoing effort to broker a truce between Israel and
