According to the report, the Trump administration has scrapped a policy requiring reports on possible violations of international law by US allies using American weapons, including Israel. The move reverses a Biden-era memorandum that had flagged potential breaches in Gaza.
The report said that Hamas claims its senior official’s interview with The New York Times was misrepresented after he suggested he would not have backed the Oct. 7 attack if he had known its consequences.
